We’re well aware that the functionality of standing lamps is equally divided between their lighting purpose and decoration value. Foscarini Tress is no exception to this rule. Designed by Marc Sadler, this tubular lamp diffuses soft light in complex shapes and the result is spectacular: if the surface underneath is smooth enough to reflect properly the light from the Tress lamp, it will look like it’s placed on water and forms water circles around it. The lampshade is made of bands, wrapped around an imaginary cylinder and is available in two colors - black and white.
